Contact coordinator@fabrangen.org for the Zoom Link.

We welcome all to a special event, Project 127, on November 17 at 4:00 pm.
At this event, we describe another benefit of Fabrangen membership: the work of our caring end-of-life/death/burial teams.
If you are not a Fabrangen member yet, this may be of interest to you. If you are a member, we hope to fully educate you and answer your questions!

May you live to … 127….? Whaaat?  Where’d the extra 7 come from? – Join us to find out.
Project 127: Funeral and Burial Planning will walk you through steps you need to be knowledgeable and prepared.

Program

  • D’var Torah: WHY is this called Project 127?!
  • What information your next-of-kin/representative needs on hand
  • What to do right after a death – who to call, what to expect, what Fabrangen can and cannot provide, especially if you anticipate nontraditional arrangements
  • Tahara/Shemira/Shiva – What are your choices? What do these terms mean? Jewish mitzvahs that you can participate in, even if you didn’t know the person. Be part of our community!
  • Being Prepared – What is preplanning? What can you prepay? What expenses to anticipate/fund? Planning for people to represent you (power-of-attorney, medical power-of-attorney, releasing your body in case of a hospital death).
  • Cemetery – Do you know the options, terms, and procedures?
  • Please RSVP to burial@fabrangen.org so we can plan for refreshments after the program.
